Time-Triggered Communication is one of few books available on the market which delves into details of specialized protocols and networks used in aviation and aeronautics, to mention SAFEbus and ASCB. Another novum of this book is the discussion of specific applications of time-triggered communication in the aerospace applications:  SAFEbus in Boeing 777; ASCB in Primus Epic (a Honeywell’s avionics platforms for general, business, and regional aviation); Honeywell’s Modular Aerospace Controller (a backplane databus for intermodule communication); and TTEthernet in Orion (the next generation Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) to replace Space Shuttle).
